She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McKee and Katharine McKee (Lacey); her brothers, Alan and Frank McKee; her stepsister Peggy Sherman (McKee); her husband Andrew Wierengo Jr.; and her stepchildren, Cornelia Wierengo, Laurel Bodine and Andrew Wierengo III.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Wierengo (Barb) and Katie Wierengo (Jeff Hazy); her stepdaughter Emmy Koehl (Peter); her grandchildren, Colin Wierengo, Aaron Wierengo, Victoria Breitigan (Jacob), Samantha Russell, Peter Koehl (Dede), Stephen Koehl (Cindy), Cornelia Koehl, Julia Norton (Rick), Jane Hart (Jason), Steffanie Southland (Scot) and Tighe Wierengo; her children, Steffanie, Tighe and Pat McKee; her nieces, Kathy McKee (Brian) and Mary Hornish (Bill); and her nephew Alan McKee. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sue's honor can be made to Harbor Hospice honoring her pioneering spirit and the Muskegon Community Foundation honoring her love for her city.
