He was predeceased by: his parents, Arie Kolk and Nellie Kolk (Van Goor); his sisters, Vera Vellenga and Beth Schipper; and his great grandchild Eric Zerlaut Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Beekman; his children, Marianne Klassen (Roger) of Grandville and Roger Kolk (Suzanne) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Dirk Kolk of Holland, Sarah Zerlaut (Eric) of Holton, Kristine Snook (Cory) of Belmont and Andrew Klassen of Burlington, KY; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Evelyn Snook; and his sister Marcia Kolk of Fremont.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested. Memorials are The Fremont Area Community Foundation for either the Fremont Christian School Endowment Fund, or for the Second Christian Reformed Church Endowment Fund.
