He was predeceased by: his father William Van Dyke; his siblings, Kevin Van Dyke, Kent Van Dyke, Troy Van Dyke and Karla Van Dyke; and his niece Christina Oliver (Van Dyke).
He is survived by: his mother Lois G. Van Dyke (Hendrickson) of Fremont; his children, Mariah Van Dyke of Grand Rapids and Brennen Van Dyke of Florida; and his brother Mark Van Dyke of Traverse City. He is also survived by several 1 niece and 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
