She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard VanZanten and Violet VanZanten (Merriman); and her husband Donald K. Frens. She is survived by: her son Paul Frens (Katie); her grandchildren, Kaiye, Jazlyn, Braelynn, Gannon and Harlie; her son Keith Frens (Samantha); her grandchildren, Karter, Kayley and Kash; her son Christopher Frens; her grandchildren, Makayla and Patrisha; her daughter Marcella Dever (Tom); her granddaughter Maisie Dowty (Justin); her great grandchildren, Hazel, Liam and Jackie; her siblings, Nancy Twigg and Bernie VanZanten; her siblings-in-law, Corrine Westcott (Howard) and Gary Frens (Jan); and her nieces and nephews, Jimmy (Ninajo), Jerry, Jeff (Sandi), Jody (Tim), Mark (Pam), Tracy, Micki (Shawn) and Jodi (Doug).
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Newaygo County Compassion Home, and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.
