She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick DeWitte and Gertrude DeWitte (Harmsen); her husband Harvey V. VanHemert of Fremont; her children, Alex VanHemert and Patricia VanHemert; her brothers, Marvin and Donald DeWitte; and also Carolyn Drake.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Maki (David), Michael VanHemert, William VanHemert and Melissa Bunce (Bruce). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
