It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Reath Jr. of Fremont, Michigan, born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Norman and Hildur Elvira Reath Sr. (Erickson); his wife Edna Jane Nissley "Jane"; his children, Jane Sawin (Paul) of Manton, Carol Josefowicz (Greg) of Fennville, Norma Roelfsema (Steve) of Cedar Springs and Scott Reath (Carla) of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his grandchildren, William Sawin, Andrew Sawin (Megan), Leslie Weigandt (Max), Lynne Frank (John), Lauren Josefowicz, Erik Peterson (Gina), Dr. Stephen Peterson (Maria Hassan), Tyler Roelfsema (Diana), Alexander Reath (Allie) and Nicholas Reath. He was also cherished by 7 great-grandchildren; and many special friends.
