He was predeceased by: his parents, Aden John Kerns and Ruth Barnett; his son Aden John Arno Kerns; and his siblings, Mildred "Mickey" Tyler, Virginia Keenan, Kathy Vanopynen, Edward Kerns, Harriet Converse and Polly Neuhaus.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughter Heide; his granddaughter Elisabeth; and his great grandchildren, Lillie and Alexis.
The military honors will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont (7193 W 48th St, Fremont, MI 49412). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (804 S Division Ave, Fremont, MI 49412).
