He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney LaBrake and Flora LaBrake (Witt); his sister Joyce Thormeier; and his siblings-in-law, Carole LaBrake, Grant Thormeier and John Tinney.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine R. Martin; his children, Marcy A. Jerome and Larry E. LaBrake; his grandsons, Matthew Jerome (Angela), William Jerome and Joshua LaBrake (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Jacob, Luke, Audrey, Mark, Sophie, Eve and Clare; his siblings, Sally Tinney, Nancy LaBeau (David) and Sidney LaBrake; and his close friend Nicholas DeFrancesco.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Saginaw Field and Stream Scholarship Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
