She was predeceased by: her father Edward; and her former husband Bernard "Bernie" Smillie. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Rames (Jon) of Bellaire, MI, Scott Smillie (Kim) of Millersburg, MI, Mike Smillie of Freeland, Jill David (Russ) of Freeland and John Smillie (Samantha) of Freeland; her grandchildren, Nichole Haswell (Adam), Katie Brooks (Tyler), Emily DiLoreto (Anthony), Jessica LaPointe (Zachary), Jared Rames, Maxx Smillie (Sarah), Lukas Smillie, Zachary Smillie (Brittany), Chase Smillie (Monica), Whittnie Smillie, Desiree Smillie and Destanae Smillie; her great grandchildren, Axel, Allie, Arlo, Lincoln, Lewis, Kennedy, Nolan, Harrison, Teddy, Sully, Josiah and Cash; her husband James Callahan; her sister Sue Jaenicke (Bud); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Smillie, Tom Brown, Mary Milne and Patrica Brown.
