She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Phillips and Maymie Phillips (Steele); her daughter Dawn Elaine Beyersdorf; and her siblings, Mary Haskin, Sue Phillips, Richard "Buddy" Phillips (Hazel), Jimmy Phillips (Wanda), Pete Phillips and Zachary Taylor (Suzanne).

She is survived by: her husband Jack K. McPhail (Ken); her siblings, Edith Wade (Jim), Martha Hingston-Kube, Elsie, Dorothy Worthing, Roy Phillips (Joan), Ben Phillips (Sue) and Carl Phillips (Esther); her grandchildren, Kari Beyersdorf, Kelly Rathbun (Matt), Allissa Eiser (Brad), Ben McPhail, David Sim (Rebecca) and Jacob Sim (Kacey); her great grandchildren, Jenna Daniels, Charlie Olivarez, Maggie Mae Eiser, Owen, Elaina Rathbun, Evan Sim and Avery Kate Sim; and her sister-in-law Blanche Reinbolt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
