We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2018, at the age of 101, Laura Heffel (Freeland, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Suzanne C. Heffel; her brothers, Grant Delaney (Ruth), Robert Delaney (Barbara) and Roy Delaney; and her sister-in-law Louise Heffel.
She is survived by: her spouse Miles E. Heffel; her children, Pat L. Cooke of Chicago, IL, James R. Heffel (Nancy) of Freeland, MI and Jill A. Compton (Ron) of Saginaw, MI.; her great grandchildren, Sean D. Compton (Melanie), Tamra S. Pell (Greg), Karin A. Heffel Steele (Todd), Kimberly N. Heffel, Kristine E. Ellerbruch (Robert) and Michele J. Chmielewski (Joe Jacoby); her great great grandchild Jackson Pell; her sister Charlotte Breiding; and her sisters-in-law, Mabel Jansen and Grace Leaman.
