He was predeceased by: his siblings, Letitia Ford and William Ford. He is survived by: his wife Ann E. Underwood; his children, Linda Ford Handran, John M. Ford III (late Laura Zabel-Ford), Alice Ford and Thomas Ford (Brandy Breen); his sister Mary Bohde (late Earl); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Handran, Nicholas Handran (Rachel), Lindsey Dean (Steven), Christopher Ford (Megan), Lauren Collins (Drew), Will Breen, Beth Ann Ford and JT Ford; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Arthur, Iris, Kate, Eleanor, Riley and Rhett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Arbor Hospice or Isbell United Methodist Church, 10821 Highway 43 S, Russellville, AL 35653.
