She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Towne and Marie Towne (Hearns); and her sister Nancy. She is survived by: her husband Markel E. Briones; her son Kevin Gates (Heidi); her stepchildren, Lisa Vehill (David), Mercedes Zepp (Kevin), Markel Briones III and Nicholas Briones; her grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Jack and Juliana; and her siblings, Clifford Jr., Mary Crawford, Frances Cichoracki, Violet Diane Groce, Ronald, Judith Lange, Stephen (Kim) and Kenneth (Lisa). She is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews.
