He was predeceased by: his sister Barb Lyles; and his father Fred Foundation of Traverse City. He is survived by: his children, Brian Winkowski (Gayl), Chris Winkowski (Holly), Christi Nelson and Walter Powers; and his siblings, Joan Briggs, Sue Guidroz, John Winkowski, Mary Ann Wheatly and Fran Vincent. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
