She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Matzke Auernhammer and Norman Auernhammer; her husband Leonard Zehnder; and her siblings, Victor Auernhammer, Chester Auernhammer and Mildred "Mooney" Butcher.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Zehnder Walker (Keith) of Tallahassee, Florida; her grandchildren, Leonard Coughlin (Michelle) and Rory Coughlin; and her great grandchildren, Ella and Tony Coughlin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
