He was predeceased by: his brother Kurt. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Laux; his children, Thomas Meier (Florida), Lori (Steve Haubenstricker), Shari (Mike Drake) and Kathryn Meier (Frankenmuth); his grandchildren, Melissa Callahan (Dave), Ryan Drake (Diana), Jonathan Haubenstricker (Jackie), Kyle Drake (Bree), Jason Haubenstricker (Diana), Lindsey Weslock (Trevor), Jacob Knoll and Dylan Knoll; and his brother Peter Meier (Barbara).
