He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Birt McKendree (Polly), Craig McKendree (Cindy), Kathy McKendree (Bob Laski), Eric McKendree and Karen McKendree (Tony Fields); his grandchildren, Jason McKendree (Tasha), Ryan McKendree (Nicole), Kyle McKendree (Lynn), Justin McKendree (Ashley), Kevin McKendree (Jie), Christopher Blake, Travis Greenburg, Alec Greenburg (Dominique Hayes-Carr), Miles Shannon and Mason Shannon; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Lanny Williams; his parents, Charles "Cotton" McKendree and Clara McKendree (Punches); his sister Alice; his brother-in-law Don Wiltse (Janet); his nieces and nephews, Russell and Corine; and his wife Janet. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, beloved family, and friends.
