It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Marcella Armatis (Flat Rock, Michigan), who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Walter Springborn (Gloria) and Rose Grosscup. She is survived by: her son Ricky Francis; her daughter-in-law Denise Creps; her grandchildren, Ricky II, Sarah and Bradd; her daughter Christine Marcella; her son-in-law John R. Saksewski; her children, Jason and Debra Marie (April19); her child-in-law Thomas E Busch; her former spouse Karen E. Hay; her son Douglas; her former spouse Gail Brown; her children, Christopher and Laura Brown; her husband James Sykes; her children, James, Melissa, Avalon and Branton; her brothers, Eugene Springborn and Jack Springborn; her sister-in-law Gloria Springborn; her family, Christine, Debra, Tom and Butch (Gail); her grandsons, Jay (Debby) and Doug (Melissa); and also David. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
I think the worst part of the pandemic for her was the fact she couldn't be around her senior friends, she truly missed them and the fun they brought into her life. She was anxiously waiting for the pandemic to end so she could join in again.
She was most active with the Sumpter Senior Center Group, the family is asking in lieu of flowers or monetary gifts to the family to please donate to the Sumpter Senior Center in Pauline's name.
