He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Eleanor Grunwald; and his parents, Otto Grunwald and Anna Grunwald. He is survived by: his children, Dave Grunwald (Lisa), Anne Greenleaf (Terry) and Nick Grunwald (Kari); his grandchildren, Amanda, Helena, Monica, Karl, Lucy, Gene, Olivia, Brittany, Michael, Benjamin and Cole; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Isaac, Elise and Lily.
