He was predeceased by: his former wife Connie Champnella; his wife Esther Champnella; his parents, Frederic Champnella and Irene Champnella; and his siblings, Sandy Brunell (late Doug) and Dennis Champnella (Debbie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Baeckeroot (Tom) and Nicole Weidner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Bryce, Quentin, Leirin, Emelia and Gabriel; and his siblings, Rick Champnella (Stephanie), Cheryl Boyd (Ernie) and Linda Dean (Bob).
