He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Powers. He is survived by: his mother Lillian Powers (Maszatics); his wife Michelle Powers; his children, Michael Powers (Amanda), Shawn Powers (Jennifer), Jessica Powers (Jason Hess) and David Powers (Ciera Newman); his sister Annette Frebes (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Grace Powers, Noah Powers and Abigail Powers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
