He was predeceased by: his father Chester Mexico, Sr.; and his brother Todd Andrew Mexico. He is survived by: his wife Lenore Burton; his children, Tiffany Shaver, Laura Heinrich, Jay Burton, Candance Tolf and Holly Hinton; his brother Dan Mexico (Beth); and his nephew Daniel Joseph Mexico.
