With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo Richard Birkholz of Fennville, Michigan, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Ann; his brothers, Lyle and Lawrence Birkholz; his stepchildren, Randy Thompson and Alice Cornelissen; and his nephews, Ryan, William (Bill) and Richard (Scott).
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert, Sally, Carl, Irene and Dean; his children, Micheal, Mark (Veronique) and Michele Lyons (Gary); and his stepchildren, Kathy Kelch (Scott), Jeff Thompson (Sara) and Christie Martin (Allen).
In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans (Michigan.gov/mvh) or Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan.
