She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurenz Schreiner and Anna Schreiner; and her son Wasyl Alexander Byk. She is survived by: her sons, Laurenz Jan Byk (Patricia Marie) and Daniel Byk; her granddaughters, Rita Lorraine Byk and Stefanie Renee Byk; and her great grandchild Aliyah.
