He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Hathcoat, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Genung and Charlotte Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hathcoat; his daughter Cynthia Schwartz; his grandchildren, Haley Kasinger, Zachary Schwartz and Hayden Fee; his mother Norma Reeves; and his siblings, Brenda Anderson, Char Krause and Gary Hathcoat. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
