She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Waite and Alta Waite (Strouse); and her brothers, Claude and Clarlyle. She is survived by: her children, Kim Acker (George) of Kalkaska and Jeffery Lenny Hardy of Harrison; her granddaughters, Andrea Reinard (Jeremy) and Jennifer Hart (Joshua); her great grandchild Abby Reinard; and her brother Leonard J Waite (Marion).

Memorials may be made to either the Clare Church of the Nazarene or to the Clare County Animal Shelter.
