He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ortrud Schneider; his children, Deborah Schneider (Martin Rosenau), Michele Mathieson (James), Holly Nielsen (Curt) and Dale Schneider (Victoria); his grandchildren, Alexander Rosenau (Kirsten Corneliussen), Allison Hext (Thomas James), Jesse Mathieson, Maggie Mathieson (Carter Kinsey), Stefan Nielsen, Nicole Nielsen, Gabriela Nielsen, Lillian Schneider and Lucas Schneider; and his great grandchild Ralph Kinsey.
