She was predeceased by: her parents, Petrus Meire and Sylvie Vermeire; and her siblings, Robert Meire (Jeanne) and Rachel Lanssens (Edgard). She is survived by: her spouse Raphael Casteleyn; her daughter Mia Anderson (Jeffrey); and her granddaughters, Christina Eliachevsky and Natalie Eliachevsky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
