He is survived by: his spouse Lenuta Gherghel; his children, Andrea Lambert (Chris), Rahela Ciupe (Sami), Simon Gherghel, Leah Eremie (Utu), Joshua Gherghel and Sarah Gherghel; his grandchildren, Ethan, Lucas, Isaiah, Jacob, Levi, Micah, Hope, Judah, Chloe and Jonah; his siblings, Ioan Gheghel (Maria) and Raveca Toth (Ioan); and his nieces and nephews, Alina Puscas (Tibi) and Nicu Toth (Cami).
