He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jay and Marjorie Jay (Meeks); and his brother Wendell Jay. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Melcheck (Stypa); his children, Mary Ann Jay (Andrea Guidi), Kevin Jay (Chrstine), Dennis Jay (Cheaza), Paul Larson (Melissa) and Lisa Wagner (Michael Hercliff); his grandchildren, Thomas Jay, Noah Jay, Brianna Boney, Coral Larson, Breck Larson, Brody Larson, Stephen Wagner and Mitchell Wagner (Rebecca Maxwell); his great grandchildren, Sebastian and Elleanor; and his cousin Ray Meeks (Kerri).
