He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Darling and Minnie Darling (LaMere); his children, Stephen Darling, Judith Riker (Kevin) and Robert Darling; his daughter-in-law Nancy Darling; his grandchildren, Samuel, Ryan, Emily, Jason, Laura, Jessica, Jordan and Mariah; his parents-in-law, Joann Jasman and Donald Bokhart (Maureen); his son Joseph Darling; and his parents-in-law, Oscar, Elmira Bokhart (Wiedyk) and Nancy Beehler (Walter). He was also cherished by his parents and his beloved wife and soulmate of 62 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I use to see him at church quite often and he always had a kind greeting asking how the family was. Ran into him at Meijer often also, we would always chat & he would always let me know where Meijer kept their best watermelons, as he always had a couple in his shopping cart.
