She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bill Schmitt and Helen Schmitt (Hogan); her husband Rick; her children, Nathan Wotta (Margaret Cavanaugh) and Lynsay Wotta (Jak Knight); her brother Stuart Bouverette; and her fathers-in-law, Jeff Wotta (Luanna) and Brian Wotta (Kathryn). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
