He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Christine Bowles (Robert), Brian Opper (Victoria) and Leonard Opper (Julie); and his siblings, Augusta Mennell (Jim), Allan Opper (Joyce), Pat Kiesow, Thurman Opper (Gail), Erick Opper, Alex Opper (Paula) and Kate Opper. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren.
