He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Andel and Cora Van Andel (Kuiper); his son John David Van Andel; and his sister Ruth Belford. He is survived by: his wife Linda Van Andel of Ellsworth; his children, Sean Van Andel of Houston and Cindi Iwanski (Jim) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and his sister Bette Hueller of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
