Gertrude Rubingh Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2019, at the age of 97, Gertrude Rubingh (Ellsworth, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kortman and Alice Kortman (Meekhof); her husband James Rubingh; her son Allen Rubingh; and her siblings, Henry Kortman, Jennie Toering, Fenna Gabrielson, Gerrit Kortman, Bernice Meekhof, Betty Spoelma, Eleanor Van Haitsma and Julia Kortman.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Rubingh (Rebecca) of Jenison, MI, Janice Bordner of San Diego, CA and Glenn Rubingh (Gail) of East Jordan; her daughter-in-law Ardith Rubingh of Hudsonville, MI; and her grandchildren, Edward Rubingh, Sarah Rubingh, Jonathan Rubingh (Daisy), Michael Rubingh, Stephen Rubingh (Olive), Matthew Rubingh, Mark Rubingh, Elissa Bordner, Jennifer Seeger, Stephanie Vanniman (Carl) and Joseph Rubingh. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
