He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Beal and Minnie Beal of East Jordan, Michigan.; his siblings, Leland, Asa, Leroy, Eleanor and Lillian Faye; and his stepdaughter Sandy (Paul Tober).
He is survived by: his wife Frances VanDeventer; and his stepchildren, Ted VanDeventer (Lynne) of East Lansing, MI, Debi Roush (Jim) of New Boston, MI and Mark VanDeventer (Julia) of San Marcos, California.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Norman's name to Medical Team Hospice, 5406 Gateway Center Drive Suite F, Flint, Michigan 48507.
