He was predeceased by: his siblings, Teresa Bley and Ronald Massey. He is survived by: his wife Laura Massey; his daughters, Alexandria "Alex" Beynen (Matthew) of East Jordan, Kayla Massey (Joe Helsley) of Boyne City and Sydney Massey (Will Hasseld) of Boyne City; his grandchildren, Leander Beynen, Wesley Beynen, Andromeda Helsley, Joe Helsley, Jr., Aurora Helsley, Arya Helslely and Elijah Helsley; his siblings-in-law, Paul and Patricia Beauvais of East Jordan; and his siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Mayberry (William) of Montana, Constance "Connie" Bley (Jim) of Traverse City, Bonnie Wilson (Dale) of Levering and Arthur "Art" Massey (Memory) of Pellston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
