Joe P. Johnston Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2020, at the age of 71, Joe P. Johnston of East Jordan, Michigan, born in Alpharetta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnston and Portia Johnston (Ethridge); his brothers, Emory and Harold; and his nephew Ricky.

He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Jacob Johnston (Jennifer) of East Jordan and Jodi Elzey (Tim) of Dallas, GA; his grandson Josh Johnston of Ann Arbor; his brother Jerry Johnston (Linda) of Smyrna, GA; and his sister-in-law Bert Johnston of Smyrna. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
