He was predeceased by: his mother Leanna Rose Hardy (Mosser). He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Lundy of East Jordan; his children, Pam Fame (Nick) of Walloon Lake and TJ Schroeder of East Jordan; his father Jerry H. Hardy, Sr. of Boyne City; and his brothers, David Hardy (Nina) of East Jordan, Jerry Hardy, Jr. of Boyne City, Mike Hardy of Boyne City and Daniel Hardy of Boyne City. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
