He was predeceased by: his mother Melvina "Melzie" Kotalik; his son John Kotalik; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Kotalik, Judie Merwin, Charlene "Weenie" Brennan and Edward J. Kotalik, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy L. Kotalik of East Jordan; his children, Darcy Kotalik (Sandra) of Boyne City, Gary Kotalik (Angela) of Swartz Creek, Jeff Kotalik (Juli) of Linden, Julie Degaynor (Dwayne) of Linden, Rich Raymond of East Jordan, Kelly Matelski (Chris) of Boyne Falls, Kirk Raymond (Jen) of East Jordan, Kevin Raymond (Vangie) of Saucier and Jim Raymond of East Jordan; his sister Mary Ann Kotsch of East Jordan; and his siblings-in-law, William Merwin of East Jordan and Sally Kotalik of East Jordan. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
