It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede Schafer of Eagle, Michigan, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Peggy Lange; her parents, Otto Mick and Anna Mick (Yohanna); and her siblings, Gertrude Morris, Anna Thomas, Gerhard and Adolf Mick.
She is survived by: her husband Justin; her children, Thomas Schafer, Carolyn Graszler (Steve) and Selena Backus (Joe); her grandsons, Philip Graszler (Jessica), Daniel Lange, Duane Backus (Denise), Nick Backus (Stacey), Joe II and James Backus; her great grandchildren, Noah and Levi Graszler; and her brothers, Rudolph Mick, Emil Mick, Otto Mick and Helmut Mick.
