He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Cole (Strickfaden); his siblings, William Cole (Leona), Keith (Betty) and Marguerite Coughlin (Stan); his siblings-in-law, Sam, Naomi Blain and Don Blain (Irene); and his grandchildren, Noah Cole and Jessica Hallgren (Cole).
He is survived by: his father Ralph Cole; his wife Barbara Blain; his children, John Cole (Cheryl), Bill Cole, Becky Zimmerman (Bruce), David Cole (Linda) and Sally Cole; his daughter-in-law Pam Cole; and also Francis Coughlin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or Project Hope in Dorr.
