It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Jack Berens of Dorr, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Berens and Agnes Berens; and his sister Beverly Berens. He is survived by: his caregiver Kathleen Berens; his children, Cory Berens (Jamie) and Lisa Schaendorf (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley DeHaan (Colten) and Tyler Schaendorf (Cassie); his son Robert Brenner (Amber); his grandchildren, Robert Brenner Jr., Russell Brenner (McKenzie), Adam Brenner, Christian Brenner and Kathleen Brenner; his sister Coni Longstreet; and his pet Brie. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, and friends.
