He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo Knuuti and Aune Knuuti (Parkkasaari); his son Donald; and his brother Helge. He is survived by: his wife Helen Riutta; his daughters, Linda Montonati (Terry) and Jane Porto; his grandson Tony Montonati (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Archer and Brian Montonati (Sara); his siblings, Paul Knuuti (Laila), Leila Aalto and Gladys Knuuti (Helge); and also, Amelia, Eden, Miller, Catherine Styf (Jon), Daniella, Monica, Dominic, Jackie Heithaus (Evans), Jocelyn, Dr. Jillian Porto (Kevin Wessell) and Jamie Porto.
