He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sargent and Gertrude Sargent; his wife Donna Sargent; and his sister Maxine Hoerner. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Ketchum (Mike) of Eagle and Richard Sargent (Denise) of Grand Ledge; and his grandchildren, Michael Ketchum (Larissa), Christine Jenkins (Daniel) and Richard Sargent II.
