Michael Prieto Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Prieto of Decatur, Michigan, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on December 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George G. Prieto and Socorro Prieto (Ahedo); his son Michael Prieto; and his siblings, William, Anthony Prieto and Ruth Aleman.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Whitaker of Decatur; his son Armando Prieto (Ashley) of Decatur; his grandsons, Emile, Michael and Ozzy; and his siblings, Dolores "Dodo" Kramer, George Prieto (Bobbi), Rosie Smerdell, Janet Prieto and Katy Mendez (Jake). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Out of respect for the family and guests in attendance masks and proper social distancing will be required.
