She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Curran and Edna Curran; her sister Sally High; her children, Christopher D. Shafer and Pamela Polomcak; and her great grandchild Aspen Grace Polomcak.
She is survived by: her husband Don Shafer; her children, Jennifer Northrup (Mike), Susan Shafer, Steve Shafer (Kim) and Amy Rose (Craig) of Decatur; and her siblings, Floyd Curran (Lynette) of Racine, WI and Debra Curran of South Haven. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
