She was predeceased by: her parents, Marl Harris and Pearl Harris (Shafer); her husband Edward Wainwright; her children, Marty Wainwright and Ellen Kurek; and her grandson Chris Kurek.
She is survived by: her son Eddie Wainwright (Julie) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Benjamin Wainwright (Erica), Alyssa Lindemulder (Jonathan), Michelle Kurek, Scott Wainwright and Todd Wainwright; and her great grandchild Makenna Grace Lindemulder. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorial donations in Betty's name may be made to Recast Church in Mattawan.
