He is survived by: his parents, Jamal Kern and Sierra Young; his sister Malayiah Kern-Smith; his great-grandparents, Roxanne Miller (Merel) and Jack Simons; his grandmothers, Peggy Kern-Smith and Wanda Brink; his uncles, Austin (Lilly Camacho) and Landon Matusik Newman; his godmother Patricia Burchi; and his aunts, Jasmin Rodriguez, Sierra Stonecipher, Ashley, Allison, Alexis and Amie Shanks (Ronald).
