She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rau and Eileen Rau (Kane); her husband Gerald Heddon; and her brother Joe Rau. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Heddon and Tammy Joubran (Gus); her grandchildren, Amanda Lucas-Joubran and Anthony Joubran; her siblings, Pat Bolen, Marian Ferrell and Jim Rau; and her nieces and nephews, Linda White, Laura Pathbridge, Wendy Paxton, Shannon Illig, Kim Ferrell, Denise Short, Julie Erity, Lynn Odglen, Mark Ruby, Scott Bolen and Doug McArthur.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
